Stocks flat after UPS, industrials earns


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened little changed on Tuesday after earnings reports from companies including economic bellwether United Parcel Service Inc and industrials including Emerson Electric .

    * The Dow Jones industrial average added 20.33 points, or 0.20 percent, to 10,205.86. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 2.35 points, or 0.22 percent, to 1,091.54. The Nasdaq Composite Index edged up 1.10 points, or 0.05 percent, at 2,172.30.
