Wall Street opens up on Kraft outlook


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks edged higher at the open on Wednesday as a positive outlook from Kraft Foods Inc revived hopes for a strong earnings season, and Chinese Internet search engine Baidu Inc surged on news rival Google Inc may pull out of China.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 32.12 points, or 0.30 percent, at 10,659.38. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 3.18 points, or 0.28 percent, at 1,139.40. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 10.42 points, or 0.46 percent, at 2,292.73.
