AstraZeneca finalizes U.S. settlement over Seroquel

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - AstraZeneca PLC has settled charges that it illegally marketed its schizophrenia drug Seroquel for unapproved uses and agreed to pay $520 million, the U.S. Justice Department said on Tuesday.

The settlement formalizes an agreement the company had reached in principle in October and the drug manufacturer had already made provisions for the payment last year.
