KB Home misses expectations


    (Reuters) - KB Home on Friday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $3.96 a share.

    Highlights:

    * Q4 revenue fell 56 percent to $919 million

    * Says fourth-quarter housing revenues totaled $908.5 million on 3,912 homes

    delivered

    * Says company-wide net orders totaled 1,296 homes for the fourth quarter of

    2008, down 50%
