Wall Street hits session lows, payrolls weigh

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell to session low on Friday after a weaker-than-expected payrolls report cast doubts on the strength of an economic recovery.

The energy sector of the S&P 500 fell 2 percent as U.S. crude oil prices tumbled more than 4 percent.

The Dow Jones industrial average lost 131.99 points, or 1.00 percent, to 13,074.60. The S&P 500 Index dropped 16.93 points, or 1.22 percent, to 1,374.64. The Nasdaq Composite fell 50.87 points, or 1.68 percent, to 2,973.43.
