Wall Street opens flat on investor caution

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks opened flat on Friday as a better-than-expected employment report was not strong enough to offset cautiousness over the euro zone debt crisis.

The Dow Jones industrial average dipped 2.39 points, or 0.02 percent, at 12,413.31. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 0.32 points, or 0.02 percent, at 1,281.38. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 0.18 points, or 0.01 percent, at 2,669.68.
