Wall Street rises after losses last week

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wall Street stocks rose at the open on Monday after a steep market decline last week as plans emerged to ease Europe's debt crisis, potentially offsetting geopolitical concerns after the death of North Korea's leader.

The Dow Jones industrial average gained 28.91 points, or 0.24 percent, to 11,895.30. The S&P 500 rose 2.82 points, or 0.23 percent, to 1,222.48. The Nasdaq Composite added 10.92 points, or 0.43 percent, to 2,566.25.
