IMF sees crisis boosting emerging economies role


    SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The debt crisis in Europe is accelerating the shift towards a greater role for emerging economies on the world stage, Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, said on Friday.
