Wall Street opens near flat after 4-day rally


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks opened little changed on Friday but were still track to post their best week in nearly a year amid optimism that the economic recovery may be on track again.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 2.42 points, or 0.02 percent, at 12,416.76. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 0.74 point, or 0.06 percent, at 1,319.90. The Nasdaq Composite Index dipped 0.24 point, or 0.01 percent, at 2,773.28.
