Wall Street gains as dollar lifts commodities



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wall Street opened higher on Friday as the dollar fell, giving a boost to commodities, while data showed personal income rose in April.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 38.90 points, or 0.31 percent, at 12,441.66. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 4.04 points, or 0.30 percent, at 1,329.73. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 7.63 points, or 0.27 percent, at 2,790.55.
