Stock futures fall amid Japan, Mideast fears


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures fell on Wednesday amid Japanese efforts to avert a nuclear crisis and as clashes in Bahrain lifted oil prices.

    S&P 500 futures lost 3.4 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures dipped 22 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures fell 1 points.
