Technology shares lead stocks lower



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks turned negative on Monday as technology shares led a selloff on investor worry about the impact of higher oil prices on the economy.

    The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 11.58 points, or 0.10 percent, to 12,158.30. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dropped 4.13 points, or 0.31 percent, to 1,317.02. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 25.56 points, or 0.92 percent, to 2,759.11.
