Dow, S&P turn positive



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Dow and S&P 500 turned positive in late morning trade on Thursday as investors saw earlier session weakness as a buying opportunity and as the Philly Fed index rose to the highest since January 2004.

    The Nasdaq was also higher.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 12.07 points, or 0.10 percent, at 12,300.24. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 1.81 points, or 0.14 percent, at 1,338.13. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 4.26 points, or 0.15 percent, at 2,829.82.
