Wall St off 1 percent after Philly Fed data



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell more than 1 percent on Thursday after data showed the Philadelphia Fed's business conditions index dropped to its lowest level since July 2009.

    The Dow Jones industrial average lost 140.32 points, or 1.35 percent, to 10,275.22. The Standard & Poor's 500 fell 15.39 points, or 1.41 percent, to 1,078.77. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 27.37 points, or 1.24 percent, to 2,188.33.
