Jobs data and earnings lift Wall Street at open



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks rose slightly at the open on Wednesday, lifted by better-than-expected private sector jobs data and a handful of positive earnings reports including Priceline.com Inc .

    The Dow Jones industrial average gained 15.67 points, or 0.15 percent, to 10,652.05. The Standard & Poor's 500 rose 2.34 points, or 0.21 percent, to 1,122.80. The Nasdaq Composite added 8.53 points, or 0.37 percent, to 2,292.05.
