Pot worth thousands of dollars found at prison in Puerto Rico


    San Juan, Nov 28 (EFE).- Marijuana worth about $20,000 was found buried in the yard of a prison in Puerto Rico, police said Thursday.

    The pot was found on Wednesday, thanks to a tip, the Puerto Rico Police said in a statement.

    The marijuana was packed in a bag and several containers.

    The pot was found at the El Zarzal Correctional Institution in Rio Grande, a city in extreme northeastern Puerto Rico.

    No one has been charged, but the investigation is still open, police said.
