FBI arrests fund manager Nadel in Florida

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Florida-based fund manager Arthur Nadel, whose family reported him missing in early January, was arrested on Tuesday by FBI agents in Tampa, a spokeswoman for the FBI said.

New York FBI spokeswoman Monica McLean said Nadel, head of Scoop Management overseeing six hedge funds valued at more than $300 million, would make an initial appearance in a federal court in Florida but he would be charged in a criminal complaint in the Southern District of New York (Manhattan).
