Bomber kills himself, one other at Sinai checkpoint-sources

CAIRO (Reuters) - A suicide bomber blew himself up at a security checkpoint in Egypt's South Sinai on Friday, killing himself and one other person, security sources and the state-run Al-Ahram newspaper reported on its website.

The attack occurred in El-Tur, a town on the main road between Cairo and the tourist resort of Sharm El-Sheikh.

In a separate attack on Friday, a bomb injured at least three Egyptians when it went off near a tourist bus being used to transport workers further south on that road, security sources said.
