WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The second crewman from a U.S. Air Force F-15E fighter jet that crashed overnight in Libya has been safely rescued, the U.S. military's Africa Command said on Tuesday.

The other crewmember of the plane was rescued earlier, the U.S. military said. Both crewmembers suffered only minor injuries after ejecting from the jet, a spokeswoman for Africa Command, Nicole Dalrymple, told Reuters.
