PaloDEx Group Selects Liaison Technologies for Supplier Integration
Liaison Technologies, a global provider of integration and data management services, announced today that PaloDEx Group, a designer and producer of digital and analog dental imaging equipment, has selected Liaison Technologies to integrate its supply chain. Liaison will deliver its integration services through its global Software as a Service platform.
PaloDEx Group operates in the international healthcare market, providing X–ray technology applications used for dental imaging. PaloDEx is a global leader in the design and production of state–of–the–art digital and analog dental imaging equipment for both intra– and extra–oral applications.
"Our goal is to set up a fast and flexible supplier network that will ensure the required deliveries under every circumstance. Automation will enable us to co–operate much more efficiently with our suppliers," says Marko Turunen, Sourcing Director of PaloDEx. "We chose Liaison Technologies because we knew it to be the most competent provider of large–scale supplier integration services. We were greatly impressed by Liaison´s flexible and customer–oriented operations. In addition, Liaison´s references really convinced us and assured us that our project would be in good hands," he continues.
"The integration of the supplier network will offer PaloDEx Group considerable cost–savings opportunities. Without an integrated network, companies find it nearly impossible to competitively operate in today´s markets, where fast reaction and reliable, real–time deliveries lie at the core of all operations," says Juhani Sormanen, Executive Vice President of Liaison Technologies Oy.
Liaison Technologies will integrate PaloDEx´s more than fifty global suppliers. Most of them are international companies that deliver mechanical components and high–tech electronic products. The suppliers will be integrated into Liaison´s supplier portal, which enables messages related to deliveries between PaloDEx and its suppliers, such as orders and forecasts, to be submitted in real time. The Liaison service will allow PaloDEx to manage any deviations and comprehensively oversee its supply chain operations while maintaining continuous contact with critical suppliers.
For suppliers, the Liaison system means easier and faster management of daily routines. The service will lead to a considerable reduction in the number of errors - at no additional cost to suppliers.
Liaison has over 350 customers worldwide, and enables more than 4 million electronic transactions every month for companies like Siemens, Cloetta Fazer, Metso, International Paper, Colgate–Palmolive, Weyerhaeuser Company, Merck & Co., Stora Enso and Unisource.
