Physicians´ Education Resource (PER) Launches PER Global: Brings Industry Leading Oncology/Hematology Professional Education Services Overseas
Physicians’ Education Resource®, LLC (PER®), the leading source for oncology and hematology continuing medical education (CME), has officially unveiled an international affiliate, PER® Global, LLC, that will carry PER’s mission of advancing cancer care through professional education outside the United States.
PER Global is the educational resource of choice for live and online activities focusing on oncology and hematology. Serving the oncology health care community, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care providers who are involved in the treatment and management of patients with cancer, PER Global plans, develops, implements, and evaluates educational activities using a wide variety of formats, as well as leading national and international faculty, targeted to the needs of health care providers.
Along with the launch of the new affiliate comes PER Global’s initial event, the first annual European Congress on Immunotherapies in Cancer™, which will be held from September 23-24 at the W Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. This congress is a two-day comprehensive and interactive program that will focus exclusively on immunotherapies and their practical application to the management of cancer. The intensive, interactive congress will provide a comprehensive review of key data sets that are most relevant for the clinician who manages some of the most difficult-to-treat forms of cancer. There will also be a focus on science advances, recent clinical trial results that shape current and evolving uses of these approaches, proactive methods to monitor and mitigate treatment-related adverse events, current and emerging testing methods, and multidisciplinary team approaches to optimize the use of immunotherapeutic strategies to treat cancer.
