Boost Mobile Pro of Surf Presented by Hurley Goes Live September 12-16

The Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley, the only World
Championship surfing tour event on the U.S. mainland, kicks off at
8:00 am (PDT) tomorrow (September 12), and can be viewed live on
www.boostmobilepro.com throughout the entire five-day competition.
Each day will start at approximately 7:35 a.m. (PDT) with the
"Dawn Patrol," a live variety morning show hosted by former WCT pro
Pat O'Connell and Boost Mobile's Mark Fewell, which will lead into
competition start at 8:00 a.m. At the end of each day (approximately
5:00 p.m.) a "Sunset Sessions" live afternoon show will be hosted by
    Peter King and Jodie Hillyard.
The Dawn Patrol will capture the European and South American
audience, while the Sunset Sessions will be timed for the Australian
and Asian markets. The shows will feature surfer interviews, highlight
clips, celebrity and guest special appearances, swell forecasts, and
    analysis of each day's competition.
The Boost Mobile Pro commentary team includes professional
sportscasters David Stanfield and Charlie Fox, pro surfers and media
personalities Mike Parsons, Pat O'Connell, Peter King, Brock Little,
Saxon Boucher and Jodie Hillyard, and Hurley model Rosie O'Laffertey.
Special guest appearances will also be made by seven-time World
Champion Kelly Slater and former event winners like Richie Lovett.
In addition to the live webcast, www.boostmobilepro.com is an
interactive website with photos, videoclips, downloads, and promotions
    to win great prizes.
The first day of competition, Sept. 12, is a virtual webcast
feast, as once the Boost Mobile Pro webcast finishes for the day,
viewers can switch over to www.surfermag.com to watch the first ever
webcast of the SURFER Poll and Video Awards. The "Oscars of the
surfing world," SURFER Poll and Video Awards draw the world's best
athletes each year in the biggest and most prestigious gathering of
    the surfing world.
The webcast will include red carpet interviews, behind-the-scenes
footage and the entire awards show. During the show, guests will be
treated to an acoustic performance by pro surfer and musician Timmy
Curran accompanied by Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters and Dave Kennedy
    of Angels and Airwaves.
The Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley is the seventh leg of the
11-round Foster's Men's World Tour and the only World Championship
Tour (WCT) event on the U.S. mainland. The WCT decides the annual
World surfing champion. Following WCT events in the best wave
locations throughout the world, the fourth annual Boost Mobile Pro of
Surf is the only opportunity for spectators to see the World's top 45
pro surfers, plus three wildcard contestants compete on the U.S.
mainland for $280,000 in prize money.
The world's best surfers travel the globe competing at 11 premier
wave locations, to determine the World Champion. The 2006 Foster's
Men's World Tour began in Australia at the Gold Coast and Bells Beach,
moved onto treacherous Teahupo'o in Tahiti, Tavarua in Fiji, and
Mexico. The Billabong Pro at Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa is held
just prior to the tour coming to Trestles, California. After the Boost
Mobile Pro, the tour will then travel to France, Spain, Brazil and
finish at the Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii.
