Next Generation Bicycle Tire "Tannus" Launches New Version with Totally New Compound

Tannus Co.,Ltd. (CEO: Lee Sung Yull) launched the New Version Collection of their maintenance-free Next Generation Bike Tire “Tannus” at the London Bike Show held at Excel, London, UK during February 12th - 15th, 2015.

[What is “Tannus”?]
Tannus is a bike tire brand producing and providing the SOLID Structure bike tires, being the only product having similar weight and performance with pneumatic tires.
Tannus had been in the global bike market for 4 consecutive years from 2011.

Tannus products are produced by very special Nano-Cell Polymer Resin foaming technology. It looks similar to many foaming products such as sports shoe soles, however it is totally different from any other foaming products. It is made from the one-and-only material “Aither compound”.
Aither compound is extremely light weight and the tire produced with this material weighs just about the same as pneumatic tires, which mass is mostly air.
Aither compound has very strong independence, and is extremely durable against any chemical attack from the outside. Thus, the products never be hydrolyzed, aged, degraded, nor show any color fade-outs.

Aither 1.1 has much better elasticity than Aither 1.0, having better ride feel and grip performance. On top of that, Aither 1.1 is showing much lower “Rolling Resistance” of approx. 15% less. It is now having the Rolling Resistance rate very close to pneumatic road sports tires, and become again a step close to the Ideal Bike Tire.
