Language Weaver Signs Cross Language as European Competence Center to Expand Support for International Enterprise Customers; Expands Partner Base to Include Training and Customization Specialist

Language Weaver, a leading software company developing

today announced it signed a partnership agreement with Cross Language
n.v. to become an authorized competence center for Language Weaver's
European and multinational corporate enterprise customers. Cross
Language will provide consultation and training services for the
customization, integration and deployment of Language Weaver's
automated translation systems.
The alliance expands Language Weaver's support in the
international localization industry and business-to-business services
market, and broadens capabilities and language offerings for Cross
Language. Cross Language has typically worked with rule-based machine
translation technologies; this marks the first time it has shifted its
approach to support statistically-driven translation. The
collaboration leverages Cross Language's experience and skills in
translation memory, linguistic analysis and terminology management
with Language Weaver's unique customization capabilities to build
rapidly evolving translation systems that result in translations
approaching first draft human quality.
