wide-reaching patents for 3D avatar technologies and avatar-based
multimedia messaging applications. The recently-issued patents (U.S.
Patent No. 6,853,379; 6,876,364; 6,948,131) include the core methods
of creating and delivering 3D avatar-based rich media messaging via a
communications server or client-based system.
The patents cover three key aspects of Vidiator's unique and
industry leading Xend(TM) 3D messaging platform:

-- The delivery of 3D avatar-based rich media messages or chat
via a communications server or client based system where a
person has a visual representation of themselves or animated
character with or without the use of audio and video.

-- Avatars created via algorithms to generate superior facial
expressions derived from audio and/or visual sensing input.

-- Avatars created with the use of facial tracking technology to
animate the avatars facial expressions.
