Arkoon and Netasq Launch New Generation of IT Network Protection Solutions

Arkoon and Netasq, subsidiaries of Airbus Defence and Space and key players in the cybersecurity market, have launched a new generation of network protection solutions. Called Stormshield Network Security, this new line of products complements the Stormshield Endpoint Security (workstation protection, even from unknown 0-day threats) and Stormshield Data Security (data protection) product ranges, thus providing end-to-end security to organizations targeted by cyber threats.

Stormshield Network Security comprises a range of nine appliances that cover the entire spectrum of organizational requirements: from the protection of information systems from internal and external threats to the control of access and use of workstations, while enabling real-time visibility over network activity. Stormshield Network Security also takes into account new cloud computing and mobility needs in its virtual version.

Stormshield Network Security solutions use for the very first time the innovative Multi-layer Collaborative Security technology which facilitates an active collaboration between the security engines on appliances. This holistic approach allows adapting the level of protection on workstations and servers according to vulnerabilities identified or security alarms raised.

The modularity of the products in the Stormshield Network Security range means that they can be integrated into any existing infrastructure and adapt to future changes in the network. Thanks to an intuitive graphical interface, network administrators can implement the solutions with minimal effort and users are guaranteed seamless security. Stormshield Network Security solutions additionally include comprehensive reporting and analysis tools that are embedded directly. These 100% interactive tools make it easier to remedy problems: the security policy or level of protection can be adapted immediately simply by clicking on a security event or an element in a report.
