U.S. EPA considers stricter disclosure on fracking fluids
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Friday issued a proposal to gather public comment on whether it should require chemical manufacturers to disclose the content of fluids used for oil and gas production, a move seen as a step toward greater federal oversight of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.
