Fire causes delays at Paris Gare du Nord station


    PARIS (Reuters) - A fire caused delays to trains entering and leaving the Gare du Nord station in Paris, according to a station announcement on Wednesday.

    Officials said a fire close to the tracks near the entry tothe station had caused delays. No further details wereimmediately available.

    The Gare du Nord is one of the main Paris stations,handling Eurostar services with London as well as intercity andsuburban services around the French capital.
