Covidien Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend and Announces Investor Services Program

Covidien Ltd. (NYSE: COV; BSX: COV) announced today that its Board
of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.16 per
common share. The dividend is payable on May 5, 2008, to shareholders
of record on March 31, 2008.

In addition, Covidien today announced that it has launched an
Investor Services Program for shareholders. The program offers a
