Brent crude rises $1 on supply disruption fears



    SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Brent crude rose more than $1 per barrel on Monday on renewed fears of supply disruption as Israel's latest comments on stopping Iran from proceeding with a controversial nuclear programme stoked tension in the region.

    Brent (brent.167)gained $1.08 to $114.03 a barrel by 0237 GMT, reversing Friday's losses and gaining for six out of the past seven sessions. U.S. oil rose 74 cents to $93.61, after settling 49 cents lower at $92.87.
