Google reports $12.2 in second-quarter profit


    (Reuters) - Google Inc posted revenue of $12.21 billion in the second quarter, in the Internet search company's first financial report since acquiring Motorola Mobility.

    Google said it earned $2.79 billion, or $8.42 per share, in the second quarter.
