Two propriety technologies in the RocketRAID series of SATA RAID
controllers offer the most advanced data protection and performance
features for Apple platforms.
TerabyteStream(TM) is an intelligent cache algorithm technology
that provides the performance needed for bandwidth intensive
applications like SD/HD video editing and media streaming.
TerabyteGuard(TM) ensures data is always protected and available
with hard disk bad sector repair / remapping. Disk Scrubbing removes
bad sectors from hard disk preventing storage failures.
The RocketRAID 3000 series was first to offer a SATA RAID 6
controller to support the Mac. All RocketRAID series support RAID
levels (0, 1,5,10 and 50) and it is the first to support SMART
monitoring for predicting possible drive failures before disasters
occur. The HighPoint web GUI lets users manage, monitor and maintain
with an easy to use interface.
