U.S. nuclear regulator says U.S. reactors safe


    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The top U.S. nuclear regulator on Monday said the agency has determined that U.S. nuclear plants continue to operate safely, despite concerns raised by the nuclear crisis in Japan.

    The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is holding a meeting on Monday to discuss how the agency plans respond to the Japanese crisis.
