Stocks end higher on bargain hunting



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks staged a comeback on Wednesday, breaking a four-day losing streak in major indexes, as key technical support triggered bargain hunting to offset weak economic data.

    According to the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 19.38 points, or 0.19 percent, to 10,059.83. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 3.47 points, or 0.33 percent, to 1,055.34. The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 17.78 points, or 0.84 percent, to 2,141.54.
