Nasdaq jumps 2 percent, led by Google



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq rose more than 2 percent in afternoon trading on Tuesday, led by gains in Google , which reports results later this week.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 172.82 points, or 1.69 percent, at 10,389.09. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 18.69 points, or 1.73 percent, at 1,097.44. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 45.79 points, or 2.08 percent, at 2,244.15.
