Senate votes to wrap up debate on Wall Street bill


    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Senate was expected to approve a sweeping overhaul of financial regulations by the end of the week after the measure cleared a procedural hurdle on Thursday.

    The 60 to 40 vote starts the process of wrapping up debate on the most comprehensive rewrite of Wall Street rules since the 1930s.

    The final vote could come any time between Thursday afternoon and Friday evening.
