Gigle Semiconductor, Inc., the leading "any wire" multimedia home
networking silicon company, has formally established US operations.
The company's new office in Palo Alto, CA will headquarter its global
marketing, sales and business development teams, while the R&D teams
based at Barcelona, Spain and Edinburgh, UK will continue to expand.

At the same time, Gigle has appointed Mark Christensen to
non-executive Director and Davin McAndrews to Senior Vice President of
    Marketing and Business Development.

"The establishment of US operations marks a significant step
forward for the company and places Gigle at the core of the ecosystem
for home multimedia communications" said Juan Carlos Riveiro,
President and CEO of Gigle. "I am delighted to welcome Mark and Davin
to the company at this pivotal time. Both are highly respected figures
in the semiconductor and communications industries. Their insight,
experience and strategic thinking will be an asset to the company and
I look forward to working with them."

Corporation in a variety of engineering, management, director and vice
president positions, with his last position being Corporate Vice

"As home networks evolve from data-centric to multimedia-centric
solutions, much greater demands are placed on the networking
technology" said Mr. Christensen. "I believe that Gigle is well placed
to take a leading role in the evolution of this market. I have been
impressed with the company's focus on delivering genuine technical and
commercial home networking solutions for both operators and consumer
electronics companies, and I look forward to helping the company
achieve its objective of enabling the mass market."

Prior to joining Gigle, Mr. McAndrews held several senior
marketing, business development and venture capital investing
positions with Intel Corporation. Among other responsibilities, he led
Intel's consumer and mobile marketing campaign strategies and
co-marketing programs for the Americas. Previously, Mr. McAndrews ran
strategic planning and business development for Pacific Telesis
Enterprise Group (now part of AT&T), was a management consultant for
the high-tech, communications, and media industries, and was a senior
engineer with Lockheed. Mr McAndrews holds a SB in Aeronautics and

at such an exciting time for the home networking industry" said Mr.
McAndrews. "High performance, reliable, easy-to-set-up and use
multimedia connectivity over any of the existing wires in the home is
clearly the future of home networking. I look forward to helping Gigle
to build its position as the leading multimedia home networking
    solutions company."
