Climate bill aims to build 12 nuclear plants


    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The draft U.S. climate bill expected to be unveiled on Monday contains loan guarantees expected to help build 12 nuclear power plants and a ceiling on the price of carbon, an industry source said on Friday.

    The bill, led by Senator John Kerry will be supported by the Edison Electric Institute, a power industry group, the source said. EEI did not immediately return calls.
