Newport Scientific Research Presents at Arab Health 2007

accredited educational presentation at Arab Health 2007 entitled,
"Biometrics in Healthcare: Overcoming the Challenges for a More Secure
HIS and to Deliver Better Care."

The Information Technology in Healthcare forum invited Jeff
Crandell, Director of Product Development at NSR to present the topic,
which addresses the increasingly important issues of identity and
security in healthcare.

Representatives from the region's leading health care providers
attended the educational sessions which addressed a broad range of
healthcare information systems topics, in an effort to gain insight
into designing successful implementations. Many countries from the
Middle East and around the world were represented in attendance at the
Dubai Convention Center, in Dubai, UAE.

"The audience was filled with skilled IT professionals, who are
challenged either supporting rapidly growing healthcare systems, or
those starting fresh with completely new facilities and technology,"
remarked Crandell. "It was a pleasure speaking with such a receptive
audience. With visitors from over 100 countries, it is the largest
event of its kind in the region," Crandell continued.
