TeliaSonera Chose Smilehouse E-Commerce Solution to Support the Sale of Super High-Speed Broadband Connections

Smilehouse, a leading e-commerce solutions supplier, and
TeliaSonera Finland Oyj (OTC:TLSNF) (STO:TLSN) (HEX:TLS1V) have signed
an agreement on an e-commerce solution to support the sale of Sonera
Laajakaista Extra services. The comprehensive solution implemented for
Sonera is based on the Smilehouse Workspace e-commerce software.
Smilehouse has overall responsibility for the technical maintenance,
control and further development of the service.

The Sonera webshop at http://tilaa.laajakaistaextra.fi enables
easy subscription to Sonera Laajakaista Extra services on the
Internet. The customers within the connection's coverage area can
subscribe to the service through the web shop. In addition to this, a
dedicated B2B interface for Sonera retailers was included in the
service. With Smilehouse Workspace software, the implementation of the
total integrated solution comprising both consumer and B2B interfaces
    was fully personalised and fast.

"Sonera Laajakaista Extra is a super high-speed broadband
connection providing up to 100 Mbps. In the first phase, the new
generation fibre-optic broadband connections will be available to more
than 1,000 properties and 100,000 residences in Helsinki, Espoo,
Vantaa, Tampere, Turku, Lahti, Jyvaskyla, Kuopio, Vaasa and Oulu. We
wanted to make the subscription process as simple as possible, so we
decided to choose a Web-based subscription system which is easy to
use. With this in mind, we also included a subscription connection for
our own retailers. This way we can ensure that all subscriptions are
made centrally through the same channel", says Division Manager Lasse
    Maki of TeliaSonera Finland.

"We wanted a personalised solution with a fast schedule.
Therefore, an "out-of-the box" solution was the natural choice. Our
prerequisites for the supplier also included a firm commitment to the
fast implementation schedule and ability to meet our requirements
regarding the service. We have been very pleased with Smilehouse's
flexibility, fastness and expertise. The end result of the project has
fulfilled our expectations," says Lasse Maki.

The objective is to make subscribing to broadband connections on
the Internet as easy and as straightforward as possible. The use of
the service begins with the selection of the subscription address to
ensure the availability of the service. The availability information
is updated in real-time. The subscription connection designed for
Sonera's own retailers was built on the same platform. The service is
easy to use, and it reduces the time spent on creating subscriptions
    and simplifies the process.

"Our cooperation with Sonera has been interesting and rewarding.
Sonera is one of the leading companies in this business. The Internet
is an excellent channel for selling the new product family. For this
kind of project, it is obvious that high quality is a requirement.
Reliability and ease of use of the service were of key importance to
us," says Sales Manager Sebastian Lindqvist of Smilehouse.
