Corning Announces Results and Pricing for Euro Debt Tender Offer



    Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) today announced the results and
    Purchase Price of its tender offer for up to 100 percent of its
    outstanding EUR 300 million 6.25 percent notes due 2010. The offer
    expired at 5pm GMT on Thursday, March 1, 2007.

    Corning has received, and accepted for payment, valid tenders of
    EUR 170,288,000 principal amount of the notes. The Purchase Price was
    determined at 1pm GMT today, based on a spread of 16 basis points over
    the yield of the Bundesobligation 3.50% due October 9, 2009 (OBL #145)
    in the manner specified in the Offer to Purchase. The Purchase Price
    is equal to EUR 1,061.16 per EUR 1,000 principal amount of notes
    accepted for payment.

    The anticipated settlement date of the tender offer is March 6,
    2007. Holders of the notes that were accepted for payment will also
    receive accrued and unpaid interest up to, but not including, the
    settlement date.

    Corning retained J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd. to serve as the
    dealer manager for the tender offer and The Bank of New York to serve
    as the tender agent for the tender offer. Requests for information
