Apple to buy AuthenTec for $356 million


    (Reuters) - AuthenTec Inc , which makes fingerprint sensor chips used in personal computers, said it agreed to be bought by Apple Inc for about $356 million.

    APPLE (AAPL.NQ)s $8 per-share offer is at a premium of 58 percent over AuthenTec's Thursday close of $5.07.
