Wall St adds losses after JPMorgan comments
JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon made the comments in an interview with CNBC, sending the bank's shares to session lows, down 4 percent.
Stocks had already been under pressure throughout the session as investors took profits following a recent surge and energy shares fell along with the price of oil.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 167.18 points, or 2.11 percent, to 7,757.38. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 16.97 points, or 2.04 percent, to 815.89. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 38.87 points, or 2.45 percent, at 1,548.13.
