Wall Street ticks up after jobs data



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks opened slightly higher on Friday after data showed the economy added more jobs than forecast in February in a sign the economic recovery was broadening.

    The Dow Jones industrial average added 16.88 points, or 0.13 percent, to 12,924.82. The S&P 500 Index gained 2.09 points, or 0.15 percent, to 1,368.00. The Nasdaq Composite rose 4.86 points, or 0.16 percent, to 2,975.28.
