Wall Street extends losses on Europe worries



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks extended losses on Tuesday, with the Nasdaq briefly falling 1 percent, on European concerns after comments from Germany's Angela Merkel and Moody's said it would review France's credit rating.

    The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 60.66 points, or 0.53 percent, to 11,336.34. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 3.46 points, or 0.29 percent, to 1,197.40. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 13.86 points, or 0.53 percent, to 2,601.06.
