Wall Street jumps after manufacturing data



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks were poised for their best week in year on Friday, with the three major indexes up 1 percent, after data showed the manufacturing sector grew faster than expected in June.

    The Dow Jones industrial average gained 129.83 points, or 1.05 percent, to 12,544.17. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 12.74 points, or 0.96 percent, to 1,333.38. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 31.33 points, or 1.13 percent, to 2,804.85.
