IMF's Lagarde: 2012 will not be end of euro


    PRETORIA (Reuters) - International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde said on Friday she did not think 2012 would be "the end of the euro currency" despite the debt crisis in the euro zone.

    At the same media briefing, South Africa's Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said more needed to be done about the global currency volatility triggered by the debt problems.
