BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Islamic State said it was responsible for attacks on a shopping complex in eastern Baghdad on Monday that killed at least 18 people, a statement circulated online by supporters said.
The hardline Sunni militant group that controls large swathes of territory in northern and eastern Iraq said four of its fighters had targeted a gathering of "rejectionist heathens", its derogatory term for Shi'ite Muslims.
