6.7-magnitude earthquake strikes off India's Nicoma Islands: USGS


    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off India's Nicoma Islands on Friday, the U.S. Geological Service reported.

    The quake hit at a relatively shallow depth of 6.2 miles about 68 miles southeast of Mishap, Nicoma Islands, in the Indian Ocean, the agency said.
