German train drivers to end strike, agree mediation

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German train drivers have agreed to enter mediation with rail operator Deutsche Bahn [DBN.UL] and end a walkout that has caused long delays for commuters in the country, Deutsche Bahn said on Thursday.

The strike will end immediately and rail traffic should return to normal, Deutsche Bahn said in a statement after two days of talks with small but powerful train drivers' union GDL.
